How Do I Reach New Executives in Their First 90 Days?
A GTM play for Revnu. A new CRO, VP of sales or head of growth reviews every tool and agency in their first 90 days. Revnu finds people who just started a role you sell to, reads what they did in their last job, and writes to them while their plan is still being written.
A new executive has a mandate, a budget and 90 days to show a plan. They review every tool and agency they inherited, and they bring in what worked at their last company. Revnu finds people who just started the role you sell to and reaches them while the plan is still open.
Why it works
The first quarter in a new job is when a leader says yes to change. They aren't defending last year's choices, they're hunting for quick wins, and their boss expects new spend. Reach them in month two and you're part of the plan. Reach them in month nine and you're asking them to undo it.
How to run it
Name the role. Tell Revnu which titles buy from you, such as "VP of sales", "CRO", "head of growth" or "CMO".
Set the window. Revnu finds people who started that role in the last 30, 60 or 90 days, at companies that fit your buyer.
Read their last job. Revnu looks at where they came from, what that company ran, and anything they've posted since they started.
Find the angle. A leader who used a tool like yours at their last company is the warmest lead there is. One who came from a bigger team will want to rebuild what they had.
Write about their first 90 days. The email congratulates them in one line, then offers a quick win for the plan they're writing.
Run it weekly. New people start new roles every week.
The prompt
Find people who started as [VP of sales / head of growth / CRO] in the last 90 days at [your market], with [size] staff. For each one, note where they worked before and what they've posted since starting. Find their work email. Write an email that welcomes them in one line, then offers a quick win for their first 90 days, using what they did in their last role.
Each lead shows the start date and the previous company on its Signals tab. Your first sequence waits for your approval in Review.
Run it every week
Every Monday, find people who started as [title] in the last two weeks at companies that fit our buyer, and add them to the New Leaders campaign.
Set it up as a workflow once and it runs on its own. See recurring work with workflows and the workflows API.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does Revnu know someone just started a role?
Revnu searches people by the date they started their current job, so you can ask for "started in the last 90 days". The start date sits on each lead so you can check it.
Does a promotion count?
Yes. Someone promoted into a VP role faces the same first 90 days as an outside hire. Ask for "new in role, including promotions" and Revnu keeps both.
Should I mention that they're new?
In one line, as a welcome. Then move to what helps them. The new job is the reason you're writing, not the topic of the email.
What if they used a competitor at their last company?
That's the strongest version of this play. Ask Revnu to "flag anyone whose last company used [competitor]" and it writes about bringing over what worked, or improving on it.
Can I combine this with other signals?
Yes. "New VP of sales at a company that raised in the last six months" is sharper than either alone. Say every signal in one message.
