Connect Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Ads
Connect your Meta ad account so Revnu can build Facebook and Instagram ads as paused drafts, launch them with your approval, optimize them for the purchases, subscriptions or sign-ups your own pixel already tracks, and report results, including ads you made yourself in Ads Manager.
You connect Meta Ads from Connections > Advertise, on the row after Google Ads. Sign in with the Facebook login that manages your ad account, approve Revnu in Meta, then choose the ad account Revnu should use.
Revnu builds every Facebook and Instagram campaign paused. Nothing launches until you approve it, and Meta bills the payment method on your own ad account.
Before you start
A Meta ad account with a payment method on it. Revnu can't create one for you. Set one up in Meta Ads Manager with your own Facebook login.
A Facebook Page. Your ads run as that Page.
An Instagram account connected to the ad account, if you want ads on Instagram. Without one, Revnu runs your ads on Facebook only.
Admin or advertiser access to the ad account and the Page, for the Facebook login you connect with.
How do I connect Meta Ads?
Open Connections
In the dashboard, open Connections and find the Advertise group.
Press Connect on Meta Ads
Press Connect on the Meta Ads row.
Approve Revnu in Meta
Sign in with the Facebook login that manages the ad account. When Meta asks, choose the Pages and ad accounts Revnu can use, then approve.
Choose the ad account
Back on Connections, the row says Revnu is checking your ad accounts. If it found more than one, press Choose Account and pick one. The row then says which account Revnu is using.
If the row says "Meta is connected, but no usable ad account was found. Check its assignment in Meta Business Settings, then reconnect.", the login you used can't see an active ad account. Assign yourself to the ad account in Meta Business Settings, then press Reconnect.
What Revnu does once it's connected
Builds paused drafts. Revnu writes the copy, makes images, and builds the campaign in your ad account, all paused. You approve before anything launches, and spend stays inside your Monthly Ads Budget. See ad budgets.
Runs on Facebook, Instagram or both. It picks placements such as Feed, Stories and Reels to fit the creative.
Uses your own images and videos. It can run videos and images already in your ad account's library, or a file you send it in chat. It uploads what you send to your ad account first.
Optimizes for your sales or sign-ups. Revnu can run campaigns that optimize for an event your own Meta pixel already receives, such as Purchase, Subscribe, StartTrial, CompleteRegistration or Lead. It uses the pixel and Conversions API setup you already have, so Meta learns from your existing conversion history.
Adds ads to an ad set. To test new hooks on one idea, Revnu adds several ads to the same ad set, and Meta spends on the ones that work.
Reads your own ads too. Revnu reports on the ads you made yourself in Meta Ads Manager next to its own. It never edits, pauses or re-budgets them. You can pause, resume or delete your own campaigns from the Ads page.
Optimizing for purchases, subscriptions and sign-ups
Revnu optimizes a Meta campaign for an event your own pixel already receives. Tell Revnu which event you optimize for today. Before a campaign goes live, Revnu checks that your pixel has received that event in the last 28 days. If it hasn't, Revnu tells you and doesn't launch, because Meta would have nothing to optimize for.
Revnu doesn't send events to your pixel, and it doesn't change your pixel or Conversions API setup. Results Meta credits to your ads show up in Revnu's reports. Once your outcome is set up, Revnu also counts the sign-ups and sales it sees itself.
How do I disconnect Meta?
Open Connections > Advertise and press Disconnect on the Meta Ads row. Revnu stops building and reading campaigns in that account. Disconnecting doesn't pause campaigns already running in Meta, so pause them first from the Ads page or in Meta Ads Manager.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can Revnu run my Facebook and Instagram ads?
Yes. Connect your Meta ad account in Connections > Advertise. Revnu builds campaigns as paused drafts, and launches them only when you approve, inside your Monthly Ads Budget.
Do I need a Meta ad account?
Only for Meta ads. Create one in Meta Ads Manager with your own Facebook login and add a payment method, then connect it. Revnu can't create Meta ad accounts, and nothing else in Revnu needs one.
Can Revnu read ads I made in Ads Manager?
Yes. Revnu reports the ads you made yourself next to its own, and says which are which. It never changes them. You can pause, resume or delete your own campaigns from the Ads page.
Can Revnu run a Meta campaign that optimizes for sales?
Yes, if your Meta pixel already receives the event. Revnu can optimize for Purchase, Subscribe, StartTrial, CompleteRegistration, Lead or Schedule, using your existing pixel and Conversions API setup. It checks the pixel received that event in the last 28 days before launching.
Can Revnu use my existing Meta pixel and Conversions API events?
Yes. Revnu optimizes on the pixel already on your ad account and the events you already send it, from the browser or your server. It doesn't send events to your pixel or change your setup.
Can Revnu use my own videos in Meta ads?
Yes. It runs videos and images already in your ad account's library, or a file you send it in chat. Revnu doesn't make videos.
Can Revnu make Instagram ad images for me?
Yes. Revnu writes the copy and makes on-brand images in Instagram sizes, such as square, 4:5 and 9:16 for Stories and Reels, then builds them into a paused draft.
I have several Meta ad accounts. Which one does Revnu use?
The one you choose on the Meta Ads row. Press Manage to switch later.
Who pays for Meta ads?
You do. Meta bills the payment method on your ad account. See ad budgets and who pays.
