Backed by Y CombinatorApollo.io alternative

The Apollo alternative that sits in the seat.

Apollo is a toolbox priced per seat, because a person is expected to run it. Revnu is the one who runs it: finding buyers, writing and booking.

  • No seat to fill and no credits to budget.
  • Every email verified before it sends.
  • Outbound, ads and search from one loop.

You choose what waits for your approval.

Apollo gives a seller data, sequences and a dialer for a per-seat price. Revnu does the seller's outreach work itself: it finds the buyers, researches them, writes to them and follows up, sending from your own inboxes and LinkedIn. If someone at your company does outbound as a real job, Apollo equips them well. If nobody does, Revnu does the job.

What Apollo is

Apollo's pitch is one subscription in place of several. From its pricing page in October 2026:

  • Data. A contact database it puts at 240M contacts and 30M companies, with filters, intent topics and enrichment.

  • Outreach. Email sequences on every plan, unlimited on paid plans, plus mailbox and domain buying and email warm-up on paid plans.

  • Calls and meetings. A US dialer on paid plans, call recording and meeting scheduling.

  • AI. An AI Assistant, AI research and agents, listed on its plans.

  • CRM. CRM integrations on paid plans.

It is billed per seat. Software priced per seat expects a person in the seat.

When Apollo earns its cost

For a rep or a founder who has committed real hours to outbound, Apollo is strong value. It puts data, sequencing and a dialer in one place, and the free plan lets you test a list before paying. A lean B2B team that already knows cold outreach works for it should probably have Apollo.

Apollo's pricing page, read in October 2026, lists Free at $0, Basic at $49, Professional at $79 and Organization at $119 per seat per month on annual billing, Organization with a three-seat minimum. Each plan includes a yearly credit allowance per seat, from 900 on Free to 72,000 on Organization, and unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle.

The honest limit

Apollo produces nothing on its own. Someone still builds the lists, picks the sequence, cleans the data, works the dialer and reads the replies. And all of that happens in one channel. Nothing in a sales platform asks whether outbound is the right channel for your business this quarter, or notices that buyers are arriving through search instead.

What Revnu does instead

Revnu does the operating hours and runs more than one channel.

  • It finds buyers. It researches each company and the right person, verifies the email, and saves a reason to reach out.

  • It writes and sends. Short sequences in your voice, from your own Gmail or Outlook, which can send the day you connect it, or from inboxes it buys after you approve, which warm up for days to weeks before they send. On Pro, Revnu sends up to 50 emails a day and 20 an hour from each Gmail or Outlook inbox you connect.

  • It runs LinkedIn. Invites and messages from your own account, paced week by week.

  • It handles replies. Follow-ups stop when someone replies, and Revnu drafts the answer with your booking link for you to approve.

  • It runs ads and search too. One account covers paid ads, posts and AI-answer tracking, so what works in outreach gets tried elsewhere.

You set what waits for your approval in Settings > Agent. Your first sequence always waits, and replies to prospects and any spend always wait.

Where this leaves you

Choose Apollo if the seat is filled: someone does outbound as a real job, your buyers are well covered by its database and you want a dialer and CRM sync. Choose Revnu if the seat is empty, or if you don't yet know whether outbound is your channel and want ads and search tested alongside it. Revnu has no dialer and no CRM sync, so a team that lives in its CRM may want both.

Questions

What does Apollo.io actually do?

Apollo is an all-in-one sales platform: a contact database it puts at 240M contacts and 30M companies, email sequences, a dialer, meeting scheduling, CRM integrations and AI features including an AI Assistant and agents. It is sold per seat, with credits for emails, phone numbers and other data.

How much does Apollo cost?

Apollo's pricing page (read October 2026) lists Free at $0, Basic at $49, Professional at $79 and Organization at $119 per seat per month on annual billing, with Organization needing at least three seats. Each plan includes a yearly credit allowance per seat, and unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle. Revnu Pro is one monthly price with lead data included.

Is Apollo an AI SDR?

Apollo now lists an AI Assistant, AI research and agents on its plans. They work inside a per-seat sales tool that a person runs: building lists, choosing sequences and working the dialer. Revnu is built the other way round. It does the research, writing and sending itself, and you set what waits for your approval.

Does Revnu book meetings for me?

Yes, through your booking link. When a prospect replies, Revnu drafts an answer that includes your Cal.com, Calendly or similar link, and it waits for your approval. The prospect picks a time and the meeting lands on your calendar.

Where does Revnu get its contact data?

Revnu finds companies and the right person at each through its own database of companies and people and the open web, then verifies each work email before it's used. The data is part of the plan, so there are no credits to buy.

Can I try Revnu before paying?

Revnu tests different offers, so the sign-up screen and the checkout page show yours: some people start with a free trial, some with no card up front, and some go straight onto the paid plan. Whatever checkout shows is what you get, and you can cancel any time from Settings > Account. The free trial page in the docs (revnu.com/docs/free-trial) lists every offer and when the first charge lands.
